Harrison Esq.
After
obtaining a bachelor of science in finance from
the University of Southern California, Mr. Harrison's
interest in the stock market led him to work as
financial advisor at the former Shearson Lehman
Brothers. He then attended Southwestern University
School of Law. During law school, Mr. Harrison
clerked for the Honorable Joseph Reichmann of
the United States District Court for the Central
District of California. Upon graduation in 1995,
Mr. Harrison accepted a position with New York
City's District Attorneys' Office. During this
employment, Mr. Harrison directed on-site police
investigations and prosecuted individuals guilty
of domestic violence and other crimes.
After
his tenure with the D.A., Mr. Harrison worked
as in-house counsel to the brokerage house Morgan
Stanley Dean Witter where he resolved allegations
by investors and regulators of stockbroker wrongdoing.
His experiences developed his proficiency in issues
surrounding brokers' violations against investors
and investor recourse. Mr. Harrison is a member
of the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association
as well as an Arbitrator for the National Association
of Securities Dealers Dispute Resolution Department.
Mr.
Harrison has been quoted in the media on securities-related
matters such as Money magazine, USA Today and
the Los Angeles Times. He is also a member of
the American Bar Association for California as
well as New York.
